Welcome back to Slammed Outdoors, in today’s video I’m going to be fishing the day before, the day of and the day after the total solar eclipse that went over the country this past week. Overall I didn’t have a lot of success fishing right after the eclipse and I wasn’t able to fish during the eclipse because of the crowds as I live in a very popular viewing area for the eclipse. The Fishing was better in the mornings on the days before and after which I don’t think had anything to do with the eclipse and was more to do with overall weather patterns, overall it was a fun test and nice to get out and fish on some nice early spring days. The Bass were crushing shad in the top of the water column so I threw a shad colored jerkbait and the baby bull shad and got bites on both.
