Terry and Jason got the opportunity to visit a private lake to bass fish for a cool summer morning. The tried frogs, buzzbaits, swimbaits, jigs, plastics, crankbaits, and more and caught a lot of small bass. But they made a change with a weather change and really caught them after that. Proof that a healthy privately managed fishery can flourish in the midwest.

your sad I feel sorry for you

RESPECT THE BASS
I hate the way these guys treat their fish. How hard is it to take an extra few seconds to use a net, gently remove the hook, and then place the fish back in the water and let it get a few breaths before releasing? The whole point of catch/release is to let the fish live and get larger. These guys show you exactly how not to catch/release and essentially kill 50% of the fish. Not to mention these guys were on a private lake. Bet they don't get invited back.
looks like a fine craft… they look similar to the Tracker or the bass tracker boats… same features? I'm in the market for a bass boat… I'll have to wait till next spring.. i see the electronics on yours looks updated as well. best of luck with it.
We will provide information for Hooked on Fishing and how to get in touch with Mike about donations and the opportunity to fish Otter Creek.
Yes, that is my Ranger RT178. Great boat and even with two of us fishing the front deck there is plenty of room. Jason told me he was totally impressed with how the boat fished.
i dream of bigger fish in my dream lake
