Conditions were tough plain and simple but we managed to find the right areas at the right time. This benefit tournament was a good one for Robbie and I. There was a cold front that rolled in the day before, cold rain and windy conditions had these fish in a funk. The sun came out and positioned the fish right were we wanted them to be. We took second place with 17.98 and first place was 20 something pounds. Congrats to Clay and Jeremy on the win. Ive been fishing against these guys was for a while now and theyve been on them for the past two weeks, winning both weekends. Good job fellas.
What did it for us this day was jerk baits around cover, docks, trees, and steep banks.

Great video and some great fishing! Were you using deep water cranking baits?
Is it common to find fish holding on docks like that in the spring?
Nice job.
