The wind had other plans for today’s kayak trip, so I grabbed a rod and hit the banks of the Mississippi River instead—and it turned out to be the right call!

In this 4K POV fishing adventure, I target Mississippi River smallmouth bass from shore and manage to land three beautiful bronzebacks, including a couple of really solid fish. You’ll see the strikes, the fights, one fish that gets away, and plenty of up-close shots before they’re released.
