Bank Fishing For Summertime Bass ( Giant Crushed it )

In today’s video, I headed out to Mather Lake in search of some summer largemouth bass. I started the morning throwing a topwater swimbait, but after getting a late start, it was clear the topwater bite had already slowed down. After trying a wacky rig with little success, I made the switch to a Z-Man ChatterBait—and that change made all the difference.

I ended up catching two bass for the day, both coming from the back of the creek in stained water. It wasn’t a numbers day, but adapting to the conditions paid off.
