  1. My local ponds have no rocks on bottom—just green muck. Crankbaits not even an option unless they are super shallow runners like a Pointer 65. Mini-Max chatterbaits in prespawn are the deal. Also small paddle tails on really light jig heads. Once water warms up a bit, Super Fluke Jr or even Tiny Flukes work great.
