If your baitcasting reels are stacked on shelves, shoved in boxes, or bouncing around in a drawer… this is the fix.

In this video I show the wall rack system I built because I genuinely couldn’t find anything out there that made baitcaster reels easy to store, easy to grab, and still look clean in a tackle room. I wanted to also protect my fishing reels from damage.

What you’ll see:
– Why most reel storage options don’t work for baitcasting reels
– The simple “dock” concept that makes this rack grab-and-go
– The key spacing that makes every reel slide in/out clean
– How I planned capacity (so it fit my wall space)
– The details that keep reels protected, separated, and visible

Key measurements:
Channel width: 3.5”
Space needed per reel slot: 6.5”
Z-clips mount flush with the top of the block

Here is the link to the exact Z-clips I used in the design. (they’re very specific).

This rack will fit any brand bait casting reel from Denali, Daiwa, Lew’s, Diana, 13 Fishing, Shimano, Abu Garcia, Kastking, and Okuma to name just a few.
