  1. The guy has won 5 tournaments with over a $ 50.000 payout, he has won tournaments where he received $75000 boats and $60000 truck. Hard to believe a man can just hide fish along the bank and turn them in and win millions and nobody catch on.

  2. Slick Johnson’s information in the video is correct. He has been suspected of cheating for a while now. I believe that more information will probably be coming out in the next few days.

  3. I agree with you this time, but cheating will never stop because money is involved. It just doesn't happen in bass fishing. I have been bass fishing for over 40 years and prior to the start of a big tournament on my home lake. I normally go out fishing and have found several fish traps with fish in them, just before day 1 of the tournament. I have seen pro's in someone else boat, fishing when the water supposedly off limits for them. They should come up with a tournament called Bass Cheaters and only bass fisherman that have been band from other tournament's only be allowed to enter. LOL!!!

  4. Several issues here;I can’t imagine who you talked to here(LaGrange)at bait shops(nobody’s open on Sundays)and I don’t know of any lady that you could’ve spoke to that would have any idea of what she’s speaking of(and I know everybody that would) 0:15but this does not repeatedly happen! Most times whoever wins is a pretty small tight knit group of replicable guys that love the game too much….another fact is the corps of engineers we’re doing bouy maintenance and found this basket with 7 bass in it.they got the basket and let the fish go which was not the best thing to do and then they put it on Facebook with pictures so we thought we won’t catch him now…but apparently he don’t do facebook,a tournament director staked it out the very next morning and Curtis visited the bouy at blast off! Nothing was there and he went on his way but he did dig around for it.This weirdly comes to no surprise of who it was that visited the bouy though because we have been suspicious of him (due to the fact that when he would win it would be by a long shot and it was always when he fished alone,if he did bring a partner he would weigh 7lbs or so)for several years but with no proof.but we got proof now and it is being legally pursued.im sure ol Slick will keep you posted(not sure who all is feeding him info but he’s actually been pretty spot on so far,go watch his tic toks

  5. I used to golf a lot of tournaments, and I always especially enjoyed benefit tournaments because there was no pressure to win, and you could just have fun. I cannot tell you how many of those I golfed in where guys would stack a team just to win it. In fact, one of those tournaments this same team won every year for 5 straight years except year number 6 when I stacked a team just to piss them off. After that they never came back, and we had different winners every year.
The point being that it is not just about money, some guys just can't have a good time without winning.

  6. We had a couple of guys who cheated in benefit and trail tournaments for several seasons until they finally got caught and failed several polygraph tests. I was disappointed it took so long catch them but more disappointed that they were only banned from fishing all local tournaments. Should have been more harsh.

  7. As long as there is money envoled there will always be cheating in one way or another. That's just the world we live in. If you knew all that went on it would probably blow your mind.

  8. This guy makes low life's look like angels. To try and cheat to win money in a benefit tournament My wife has 3rd stage Cancer and if it were for her benefit and he was caught you can bet that he wouldn't be walking without crutches or if he would ever walk again.

  9. We all agree that cheaters suck, but wouldn't Bo still receive the same allotment of the proceeds? The cheater was cheating his fellow competitors, not the tournament organization. Again, cheating is wrong no matter what, just want to clarify what happens with the money. Correct me if I'm wrong.

  10. I have seen cheating in a tourney once for sure and iI am about 90%,sure a second time.. First time it was a basket tied up. Second was a guy that was fishing in the middle of the lake where I had trolled and there was nothing other than something like a box on the bottom. He won on that spot. It was gone the next time we fished there so it definitely was removed

  11. Money ruins sport. Sport should be for those who fish for run, Fishing for money is NOT sport. Stop "winning" and start fishing for sport again, I would be happy if we abolished all tournaments, and went bac to fishing for Sport.
