  1. cant go wrong with a dropshot small hook with a oxblood red roboworm. thats my fav though its slow and tedious. i did a lot from the banks so i didnt do much cranks, to easy to lose but lipless cranks i kinda did them and they were pretty good also. i would say my second favorite bait its kind of expensive if you lose em like i do. is luckly craft suspending jerkbait idk why but they are fire. most of my bass fishing was on very high pressured water though. so those are what i used prob more then anything else though there was times you could get smashed with other baits those did good basically anytime of day any weather ect. ive had days i tried the 10 inch worm.. and its crazy i only caught a few fish with em.. but ive had a lot of followers on it where they pop up out the deep and surprise you but for some reason i just couldnt get them to bite. even throwing dropshot in area right after. i dont really think there is a wrong way to fish for them. i mainly stuck to drop shot roboworms or weightless texas weedless rig bigger senkos. i was trying for big fish though mainly. and in high pressure they shine. but also they did some science experiments and for some reason it proved fish like worm looking baits more then all others and that always stuck with me. i know one of the monster bass in cali was with a pig and jig. and also one monster was with a live salamander before they made it illegal. there is also a thing where when you catch bass especially good ones on certain baits it builds your confidence in that bait so then i notice a lot of people rely on more what they are confident with. when sometimes bass are so picky you need to unload and try everything you have on you and it still might not get them. but then i seen you put that one color or lure on ect and the bass just all a sudden all turn on fire and smash it.. so ya bass fishing is challenging for sure. i think thats why a lot of people like it. its not like bluegill fishing. nice vid have a good one.

  2. Im honored to have you down here in my back yard DW! Hope you and your wife are having fun! You are definitely in an area for topwater and frog fishing right now. Early spring and late fall the flipping bite is really good. Make sure to fill up on some good Cajun food before you head back. Billy’s Boudin got some great tasting boudin and crackling off highway 49 just north of Lafayette La. Look it up on your wife’s cell. Take care keep those videos coming!
