Seems to me the only ones complaining about the Classic are the ones who can’t fish in it.
Forward facing has turned the elites into a boring event. Anglers are specifically searching for larger fish to win. Just not the way it was before.

Randy, what's your opinion on the 10-15 anglers that were in the Classic that weren't actually on the Elite Series that got in through College, or other routes? It's sad when I've been a BASS fan for over 40+ years and I have no clue who 1/3 of the guys in the Classic are because they come from other organizations. Also, none of those dudes did well in the tournament and none of them had any personality to draw people in to actually wanting to know who they are. It would seem to me that it would make more sense to actually have only Elite Series anglers in the Super Bowl of bass fishing.
