I have that one and the smaller sized one. I know it has smaller hooks, but still pulled in a 2#er
Found these at Academy for $1.50, so loaded up. Bluegill, crappie patterns. Have had success this spring with them.
Caught a 10 lber on one of these in a sunfish color .. caught her right off the bank in a pond full of a bunch of small 1 to 2 lbers .. I was reeling down the bank were a bunch of other little small bream were chilling and they were feeding on them and were aggressive on the beds .. I was reeling back in almost was about to take it out the water and she smacked it good and swallowed it the second time and I got her up .. was a fish of a lifetime
Just bought not disappointed
Actually now looking at your timeline of when this video is uploaded you probably bought that at the same time the clear inventory every year
Since it was from Academy I have about six of those different beats and I always hit stuff on him no matter where I go
Also on that note the H2O swim baits usually go for about $15-$20 they’ve been on sale here recently I think because of the COVID-19 virus stuff believe they’re just trying to make some sales clear our old inventory
I know one thing to why is everybody always blaming the instrument or tool when it is a lack of the composers ability to successfully facilitate the action needed to get a strike lol
Use the same, cat fish been hitting hard
Using the same lure, I caught 23 lbs of fish in 7 casts in the San Marcos River from the bank fishing parallel to the bank. Slow steady retrieval letting it fall every 6 feet or so. The fishing was best right after sunrise and into the early morning, then they quit. Chatterbait with a white fluke trailer produced well into early afternoon.
This is a good bait, but like most others, it has its time and place.
I’ve caught a ton of bass on the H2O bluegill swimbait. One of my favorite ways is to reel fast enough to make it wake the surface. They will smash it.
I got 3 of them….never caught a damn thing on em.
I had a blue one on Juliet in middle ga. Stripes beat the paint off that thing. I have the same problem with the hooks hanging on the bait too.
Thanks
What kind of spinning combo and line would you use with this bait?
Great video, I typically use H2O express baits. I just bought a jointed shad and frog.
Just bought a few of these. Can't wait to try them out here in Louisiana
I think it makes to much noise from my trial of it. No bites on it.
Caught my pb on that bait 🤣
Awesome video bro 🙏🔥 I just had a question, what was the name of the lure you used to catch the first fish?
I love using those swimbaits!
Try the shad ones, i use them and have caught huge bass in Texas and Louisiana
Yup….good little bait!
Great review bro I use those swimbaits and they kill on my waters 👊🏾
