A tough (but rewarding!) winter lure fishing session for bass at Lake Kurwongbah

The winter pattern has really set in now at Lake Kurwongbah and with the fish spread out and heading for deep water I really had a challenge on my hands for today’s fishing…

The other challenge was the wind – it was blowing a hoolie, sending me spinning in 360s down the lake!

But I managed to get amongst a couple of decent fish at this amazing venue on Brisbane’s north side.
