Bass Fishing Lake Santeetlah in Robbinsville, NC – August 2021

I have always had mixed feelings about this lake. I have caught some stunners here in wintertime, but I have only fished it in summertime once and didn’t do very well. I figured it was time for redemption. Cris and I headed out on this bright Sunday and we had a good time.

Fish were active on drop shot, shaky head worms, glide bait, top water plugs and even had a few on jerkbait. Safe to say, if you got it in their face today, they were probably eating.
