BIG BASS at Jamestown City Lake, North Carolina

There is a lot of BIG BASS in this old lake. Caught up a few nice one’s this season. I started fishing at City lake in 1975 and always been the best lake for big bass. They killed the grass a couple years ago, and all you see now is 6 and 8 pound fish on a stringer. That grass was what made that lake a real trophy lake to those who knew and took care to let the big ones go. It’s all over, for the city lake now, if the grass doesn’t come back.
