Bass Fishing Buckhorn Reservoir, NC in the Cold

My college football coach, Coach Powell, and I went to Buckhorn Reservoir in 30 degree temps to get on some winter bass. We were supposed to be at Falls Lake, but Coach had a trailer issue and we audibled to Buckhorn.
It was a tough day fishing. Post frontal, blue bird skies, and a lake we were not familiar with made it a tough bite. I caught one 1.5 lber, but we had a good time and got to mark a bunch of spots for next time.
