First off, perfect review: informative, illustrative and succinct! Wish more did it like you. Secondsies, would you be able to recommend a comparable rod that was more suited for single hook jig heads and soft plastic baits? (I normally fish 1.5oz – 3oz swimbaits on the CA coast and am looking for a more sensitive and fun swimbait rod for targeting the 10-20lb lingcod and halibut we got out here)
Will this rod be good for a deps 250 glidebait and other glidebaits?
Too many bullshit "unboxing" videos out there guys just reading off the specs, absolutely useless. But here we have plenty of fish catches and casting clips to back up your review – Great job!!!

That second nut in the reel seat is to lock down the first nut that goes over the foot of the reel its not locked down… lock’r down my guy

Some nice recaps on them big bass!!!I looked into the rod not a bad price at 319 might look into a xxh I have been looking for something to throw a 14 oz bait been looking at the dobyns 867 and 908 which can throw a 30 oz bait but doubt I ever would 14 is probably about it but about same price definitely like the omega love the handle on it Thanks for review and all the hard work you put in for your content Tight Lines My Brother!!!
