do you still recommend this outfit? looking to get into fly fishing at around this price point and wondering if there is a better option currently.
Can the samlon kit also be used when trout fishing. Sorry if it's a dumb question but but I'm thinking about getting into fly fishing thanks.
100%. I don’t think there’s any other kit out there that I would buy. Even if you’d really like to spend a little bit less, I would recommend stepping it up to this one.
Rookie question. Was surprised at how much the reels free spool on the retrieve in the video. Is that how it should be?
For the coastal kit, it saids designed for cooler conditions. What is considered cooler conditions
Fantastic video! I’m a newbie looking to purchase my first set up. I’m in Scotland and was wondering if you could choose one of the kits featured in the video for trout and salmon ( something you can use for both fish) which should I go for ?
Redington trout field kit or orvis Clearwater outfit which one is the most worth buying?
Sold! Just ordered one from your shop. Honestly the aesthetics was what made me choose it over other kits.
Are these still the best bang for your buck for beginners? Looking at getting my feet wet into fly fishing.
Subscribed , great product review .
“It’s revolutionary!!”😂😂😂
Which kit do you recommend for inshore/marsh fishing for redfish? It seems like it would be between the tropical or coastal?
I've been fly fishing since I was a kid.
How would you compare the 5wt Field Kit to the 5wt Echo Traverse kit. I'm a relatively inexperienced trout fisherman. Thanks
I was specifically looking for a reel that would stop a dumptruck full of bricks 😂 Nice video and thank you!
Looking to get into fly fishing. I’ve narrowed it down to the orvis Clearwater combo and this redington trout combo. Anyone have experience with both or can help push me to one or the other. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
That was a good review for the bunch of starter kits I mean truly. I was impressed with that I would think about getting a bass or yes costal set up ya never know ya might be in need some day . Thanks positive
I'm brand new (a minnow) to fly fishing. I catch a lot of panfish (incl Crappie) what size/wt/etc would you recommend for that type of fishing? Also are the other Redington kits (Vice) acceptable? Thanks
I was looking at the Clearwater combo from Orvis which is a little more expensive (not much more). Would you recommend the Redington over one of those? Thank you for the video!
Super beginner and I want to get this kit but not sure which one to get. I’m in Houston Texas so I don’t have a problem finding bass but I mean you could technically use any of these rods and catch the same fish right?
So if I got the trout kit or something I can just catch bass with it anyway?
Mine just arrived today. Stoked to get out in the river tomorrow
What kind of version of this kit you would suggest is the best for pike fishing? In sweetwater lakes and rivers? I thought of the 9wt cold water version?
