December is a great time to fish around bait. The bass are truly feeding to get through the winter. Something I think many anglers do however is go to where the very most bait is and start there. Often times though I just want to be in areas that have some presence of bait. Any kind is good! Shad, bluegill etc just some kind of bait!

Ottawa you are swell person. Your personality is so great
Yes, we have had good luck in winter doing this. Thanks for the tip.
Thank you, great stuff, love your Techniques of the month!
Here in Texas we got bait everywhere too!!! I got some deep Rapala jerk baits last weekend. Do you quickly jerk or reel to get the bait down?? Thanks for all the help!!
Merry Christmas Ott and Jennie and family!
Ott good info. I have a question for you or anyone. I can only afford one, should i go with the 360 or the mega live?
Another awesome video

Thanks Ott. Great information & video.
Water was 58 up north 61 down south but the lake is clear end to end no drawdown here but it fluctuates ft or so depending if they draw it
Well that sounds better cuz I've been looking for bait on North end pockets, mainlake, channel swings an it's just not there. It's few here few there really deep an mostly around bridges as o I avoided it an went looking down south where we have some hydrilla in few places but it was hard getting bit in it also. I really wanted to be up north. There was 3 deg diff between North end and south cooler up north..
Great video! I鈥檝e spent a lot of time on Douglas over the last month and a half. As you know, there鈥檚 bait EVERYWHERE! But I鈥檝e noticed, like you said, places that have just a little bait here and there seem to produce more fish.
BAIT stands for (bass are in today)馃槀
Awesome Video!!
