How do you like this compared to the 7’11 kgb rod you have? Do you prefer one over another?

I recently bought 2 – the Heavy and the XH. You’re spot on with your review. The first cast i threw a Flagg 255 with the Heavy I could immediately feel the difference. Best swimbait rod I’ve used.
I have mine paired with Calcutta MD 300 series. AMAZING to say the least.
