Excellent video!
I personally rely on fishing structure more than finding fish on forward facing. I fish for walleye more than bass though and walleye tend to be closer to the bottom. It's cool when you find a spot where they should be and you start to fish it and see them all coming up off the bottom to chase a jerkbait after on live.
Love the videos where you show yourself scanning and your thought process
Hello Sir thank you so much for putting such great content out for all of us to watch… I have a question for you on your settings of your Lowrance, how do you get that forward facing line coming off the front of your boat on your screen? what setting do I need to go to to allow my Lowrance to add that feature as well. thanks so much Randy
No, you saw them, we all see them. the tricky is the moments they bite were not there.
If you had a Garmin you’d see what’s up there. That at2 looks awful. No issues seeing out to 100 ft and watching deep diving cranks on my 1222/lvs34
You answered a question I been wondering about….now throw a square bill on the 5 ft suspended fish in 60 ft of water
Thank you — I threw "strolling" type baits for hours — caught nothing — threw an OSP Blitz MAX in the Esa Gill color — caught three 17 inch plus bass on 5 casts — might not work for everyone, but it worked ok for me today
You get a big thumbs down for sharing this bait to even more people. Legit maybe the best crankbait on the market. It gets to the right depth to fish that have not seen cranks that deep.
Loved the video Johnny with the complete view of all charts and sonars, really valuable in leaning my HDS Gen 3 capabilities… old school, but still gets the imaging done.
It’s definitely true that FFS doesn’t always show the whole story. If you use only FFS you’ll miss some things. And you may get sidetracked too.
I wish Garmin would show waypoints on down/side imaging.
Love the videos, fishing divers is one of the funnest bites.
How the heck do you cast the 6xd with 12lb line?! Im 100% sure my line would snap first cast if i tried that
"I don't know what's up there. I can't see anything. I don't know what's going on with that." blah, blah, blah. annoying……
It’s a small ledge Johnny, fish it all the time.
Now Randy says that SK Sexy Shad color don't catch crap! But Randy says lots of things.
👍👍👍👍👍
Great video. That OSP crank is pricey bc they know what they’ve got. It’s really good!!!
Hey Jonny, I know you like the OSP crankbait and it looks like a nice one but the price is going to put it off for many folks, $30 for a crankbait is pretty steep. I think I have found an alternative and while it's still more expensive than I would like it's about half the cost of the OSP, it's the Duo Realis G87 20A. It's another deep diver and supposedly on 12lb line can eek down to 27ft and supposedly casts a mile. Still not sure I want to loose a $16 bait either but a WHOLE lot better than $30. Would be neat if you could pick one up and see how it compares, another good video thanks!
