In this video, we are fishing the Fresno slough for the first time we are figuring out a new fishery with my buddy Fabian. It was a bit of a challenge, figuring out the pattern out here originally we try to access the San Joaquin River, but unfortunately, it was overrun with Lily pads so we stuck to the Fresno slough. We quickly realize that the pattern was going to be a reaction bait. I got bit up on my spinner bait at first but completely missed a fish. It wasn’t till about after my buddy landed a three pounder that I landed my first fish of the day. We both ended up catching two largemouth bass with my buddy catching the biggest fish of the day at 3 pounds. My biggest fish of the day was 2.32 pounds. I will definitely be coming back to this fishery and figuring out where the big bass are.
