Bass Fishing Late Fall in Wisconsin

Hello Fishing Friends,
With the water in the rivers so low and the air temperature so high and it being so darn windy, today was a day to not fish for walleyes.

I headed out to a small lake in east central Wisconsin to fish for bass. This way I could enjoy the unseasonably high temperatures and the nasty winds.
I figured with being this late in the season I catch fewer bass but I catch a big one or maybe two over 16 inches.

I tossed a bass jig around a bit. I burned a lipless crank bait a bit. And what caught some fish was a painfully slow stick worm rigged wacky style.

Water temps were in the 50’s. This was shot on October 28, 2024.
