With recent rain and low temps, I decided to head to the Crown Jewel of the Pocono’s (Brodhead Creek) for some early morning Trout & Smallmouth Bass fishing. Venturing relatively deep into the lower Broadhead Creek Gorge (surprisingly ominous, yet peaceful), I managed to net 3 Stocked Bows and 4 Smallies. This stream is very unique due to its large size and connection to the Delaware River (largest un-dammed river in Northeastern USA). Many interesting species swimming around in there. Great little 1/2 day will definitely be back for the big browns in Fall or Spring.

As usual, always entertaining and informational. Years ago starting when I was about your age, I always fished way upstream near the honeymoon resort. Then I got BIG TIME IN THE UPPER DELAWARE RIVER. Driving past the lower part all those years ago, I often wondered about it. Also, thanks for The Maryland videos!
Watch for Rattlesnake early summer! (just sayin) Fall has a run of huge Brown Trout from the Delaware river.
‘And by “we” I mean myself. it just feels less sad’ 😆🤣
I laughed when you compared yourself to that long shallow featureless stretch. I refer to that as frog water
Love the videos.

I put the rope swing up on the cliff at midway point in 1992. Its still up kind of comical.
