FALL RUN STRIPER FISHING Sacramento River CA Delta

Striper Fishing Report Northern California
Sacramento River California Delta Striper Fishing

We had a tough time catching bait at the incoming tide We had several hook ups, but did not boat any stripers. When the tides changed, we were able to catch more baits consisting of golden shiners and splittails. Again, we fumbled a few hook ups! Finally, Captain Chris saved the day by spanking a nice 30-inch, 9-lbs striper! Come along for the ride.

  1. When using live bait, it is best to let the fish run with it for a bit. That’ll give it some time for him to get the bait deeper in his mouth so you can get a better hook up ratio.
