This is from a few weeks back at the Swimbait Universe Gathering Tournament. I fished with my buddy Mark Ramsey and we put a handful of fish in the boat while fishing the Chickahominy River.
The Gathering itself is awesome if you’ve never been, and I highly recommend hopping in the tournament as well. It’s all run extremely well, and it’s something I look forward to every fall.

Good job. Wish I was there. They paid out the tie wrong tho IMO. They caught bigger fish than Mark ( solo 4th) but got less money each LOL. Tie for third should add the fourth money and divide by two and Mark should be fifth.

Twas quite possibly the worst tournament conditions for big swimbaits ever. But Phil and I commend you for not going to the lakeside bar at 2pm like we did 😂
