Giant muskies.. a freshwater fish like no other. I feel incredibly blessed to have witnessed these beasts, needless to say I am hooked and will 100% be targeting them in the future. Hope to one day land one of those true 50″+ mega giants, but for southern Wisconsin, mid 40’s is a truly giant fish. Such a special day to share with the guy that got me into fishing!

Beautiful fish. Is this on the Fox Chain-O-Lakes?
For a young man in your twenties I would guess you are very well spoken and educated about fishing, your dad must be proud of you.
Dude where in southern WI is this??
Steel leaders, musky gear, bigger net! Lucky he didn’t get a hook in his hand!
You need to get a bigger neet
It's hard to watch you deliberately targeting these fish with no wire leader. It's like you want to have them bite you off and die a horrible death.
Can i call you to book your boat and yourself,?????
Fishing for musky without a leader is like winging arrows at deer… just don't do it…there not bass and need handled with care or they will die very easily… especially in warm water
“How long this fish weighs”
If all you have is a hook some string and a stick and there are musky around go for it. Don't let these dingdong's criticize you
So cool i wish i could fish with my dad again also wish we could of went miskie fishing when he was stil around. We lived on Lake St. Clair and never got one
fuckin yanks
still addicted
only drug dad introduced me to
Helpful advice from a guy who had targeted musky for over 20 years… The bigger the net, the better.
One more comment from me. Seems like there alot of people hating on this young man and his father cause their showing some people up on how you can catch muskie on gear for other fish. Just be happy that they are able to make good memories with each other nefore its to late. Happy fishing…..
Hey Chris this is an awesome video, especially being able to have your dad out there with you. My dad is not into fishing the way that i am but im hoping that one day my kiddos will love it as much as i do and then i can make a vid like this. Keep up the good work, happy fishing……..
You can’t net a fish worth a shit😂 I’m surprised he didn’t lose both of them you always net from behind and you slowly move it close then scoop not fucking throw the net at the fish like you did😂
Nice video fella but seriously you need to stop using braid as a leader. No way is it suitable for pike or muskie. It has a very low abrasion resistance compared to the likes of wire and fluorocarbon. I would seriously urge you to think about that before you leave lures in fish and have them starve to death for the sake of a quick photo.
I know someone that caught a 44 in northern pike
I was the one that got my dad into fishing. My grandpa took me for my first time!
Let's see how long this fish weighs haha.
Teeth cut through braid like butter. Always bring some heavy flouro!
That’s where I launch my boat
Insane catch def a trophy fish, great video as well 🤘
BEST DAY OF FISHING E V E R ❤️ YOU’LL ALWAYS REMEMBER TODAY…..
