  1. Randy, as a former pro, I’m glad you participated in pro fishing for 50years, but now it’s no good, now that you’re a YouTuber. Actually you would have to know everyone’s sponsor deal to understand what they make.

  2. I always wonder where all the money is going bassmaster is taking in a little over $500,000 a tournament. I haven’t done the math how much they’re paying out for the full field but I know they’re not paying no $500,000 where is all the money going?

  3. I qualified for the regional this week in Tennessee. For the first week after the last bfl I was excited about it. But the more I thought about the more I realized I couldn't afford it. Yeah could have thrown it on a credit card but with the interest rate would have been close to 3500.00 4000.00. Gas, lodging, food ect.

  4. Also a hardship gets created on the anglers family as the angler is relying on family as much as themselves to support it. It amazes me how long it last sometimes before "too much is too much"

  5. Quit tournaments in 2016 due to the amount of cheating I seen going on. As a tournament director of many tournaments and disqualifying and listening to allegations of cheating but not being able to prove it. Good luck guys.

  6. When was the last time you saw a real professional sport tolerate cheating for 40 years? And make constant rule changes, sometimes literally weekly, just to reverse them the next week? As Matt Stephan says, "professional" tournament fishing is really just a corporate fishing marketing activity, not an actual pro sport

  7. Phycological games have been played to relieve people of their money and put people in power throughout history. In today's era of personnel data being used to manipulate us, those with the means to do so are more than happy to use that advantage.

  8. Tournament fishing is flushing money down the toilet but I keep my entries at the club level, which I consider much like green fees if I golfed. I don't win much but the completion is still fun. I would never go out on tour.
