FALL CRANKBAIT STRATEGIES FOR BASS FISHING
KVD explains how he uses crankbaits like the 3XD and 5XD to efficiently cover large areas of water, a crucial tactic during the fall transition. Crankbaits allow anglers to fish faster, covering more water in less time than slower methods like drop shots or shaky heads. With this approach, KVD hits multiple areas quickly, which is essential when bass are scattered across different zones. This all sounds nice but my local lakes are nothing but weeds and vegetation and trees and stumps, not much rock. You’d get a crank bait full of vegetation right away.

Thanks Kevin for the tips, really. My nephew and I learned so much from you. We got our first boat this weekend and took it out yesterday. We both caught a 4 pounder and tons of 3 pounders. I used a skirtless vibrating jig with a white fluke. He used a spinnerbait. Cheers brotha'.
