  1. First off, great video despite losing the footage lol. Those were nice fish. We dont have spotted bass around where I am either but I know that was a good size one. As far as the data goes, does it say "Card error, must reformat to use" when you put it in your gopro? if it says that, dont use the card in the camera again until you try to access with a card reader like a lot of people have been mentioning. Im using an Anker Card reader, it was very cheap, but its got a good transfer rate. The go pro for all its positive traits, is a menace when it comes to memory cards and its ports. Ive had so many audio malfunctions using the media mod with its microphone, that its ended up ruining days of fishing instead of enhancing them. So 100 percent I would try the card reader rather than relying on any cable that goes into the gopro for transfering. I know what its like losing data when something goes wrong, not a fun day. Best way to fight that, I would get an extra portable hard drive that you can plug into your computer, save all the extra footage to that, and always go into a filming day with a blank card. They've gotten super cheap for a simple portable hard disk, there like 50 dollars for 1 TB of data storage, 70 dollars for a 2 TB. I just bought one myself cause i have so much extra footage from fishing this year that i gotta edit over the winter. Sorry for Rambling I hope this helps!

  2. Do you just tether the camera to your computer to get your footage off? I did that a long time with my Hero 10, but finally bought a card reader and take the card out every time now to transfer footage. Seem to have fewer issues that way. I’ve never gotten that message before but I have tried a file recovery for footage I deleted off my laptop and never was able to recover it. Might look into a professional service to take it to? Best wishes! Great vid and nice bass! They taste great!

  3. You should come to ga , there are 4-5 lb spots in our lakes and rivers. Sorry about you camera, you should check out the DJI cameras. Obviously GoPro is junk form what I read and see. I have a AKASO brave 7le it works great and only 140$. Great catch! I haven’t caught a spot yet but I will soon! 😊

  4. The water is so low. I heard there was a rockslide up north that affected where they needed to divert water and Rollins got screwed. I need to bring my kayak there. Shore fishing almost impossible there because it’s so steep.

  5. 2 new PBs (one for the kayak)? What a day! Technical malfunctions really stink… I feel like that's all I've been dealing with lately along with some poor fishing trips. Great work out there and good luck recovering the footage. I'd get a card reader and see if you can at least get the files off the disk. Sometimes the SD card error is just because it can't write to the card, not because it's not readable. I hope that's the case!

  6. Way to go! Some nice bass! Your puppy is so cool! I had problems with some sd cards in my gopro before. I was using 256gb exstream card and 2 of my cards did the same thing. I had to down grade to 128gb exstream pro so I just got 2 of them and I haven't had any problems any more. I was able to get some footage off the old cards but most of my footage was messed up. I didn't do anything special to recover the video I just put it into my laptop and some files were safe and the other ones were not. Hope you figure out what's going on. Like I said this worked for me but it may not work for you though. It wouldn't hurt to try it though. Good luck! Thanks for sharing your fishing trip with us!!💯👍🏼🎣🎣🎣✨️

  7. lol My granddaughter said you have cute toenails. Awesome catches and the pup has impressive balance. As far as you SD card goes, it wouldn't be a bad idea to get an sd card reader. They are inexpensive (5-1O bucks) and you might be able to retrieve your videos without much of an issue. There are also recovery software programs than can do a deep dive to search for the data. The software is long winded and can be a bit confusing, but it does offer a chance. Also, SD card readers are often faster at transferring video to a PC than the GoPro.

  8. Both bass were nice, especially the 2nd one. Looked like a really nice lake. I dont use GoPro but if I have an SD card issue, I power off camera, eject/remove card, reinsert it & power camera back on. Sometimes works, sometimes not

  9. I don’t have spots near me. Nice bass. I hope you are having better luck with your Mach 1 than I did. Mine ended up in the garbage at the Texas City Dike. They replaced it twice. I got tire of paying for shipping. 😂
