Thanks..Good Teaher lesson…
Really appreciate the video. Can I tie this straight to 15lb braided line?
Thank you for taking the time to explain and demonstrate almost everything on this topic. The one thing you didn't seem to mention is when and why you were reeling in slack on the line. Might be common knowledge but you never know when an extra bit of information will help out a viewer like me. Definitely a subscriber now and can't wait to watch your other videos because now I know they are actual how to videos and not like videos on other channels that show you fishing without explaining any of it. Much appreciated!
Wonderful video thnx
Caught 5 big bass today with Texas rig. Thanks
A relaxed approach of presenting information, more like a conversation with the viewer which is easy to listen to and digest. I look forward to more content from you.
Great info
I'm new to Bass fishing but I feel more confident now because this dude is a GREAT teacher,I'm REALLY glad I subscribed and liked his videos…HE'S GOOD!!!!!
Do you use a leader, or are you attaching the hook and sinker directly to your main line? Does it matter?
What about when the pond floor is grass and weed heavy? How do you drag and shake through weeds and pads?
I've caught many bass in my life. But got my first one the other day on the Texas rig!
Thank you so much for the tutorial. This was so informative and I can’t wait to get on the water and catch some Bass!
So glad to learn what actually learn how to fish this rig…….. I'm one of those guys who has all kinds of worm and hooks in the bottom of his fish boxes only never to use them. But had to have them like everyone else has one…. Now I thiink I might open the packages and use what I learned today. Thank You… and I just did Subscribed….
Thanks for demonstration. BTW, Is the weight 1/8oz or 1/4oz or 3/16oz? Thanks
Thanks Sonar… This is my first viewing of your vids. Really great basic instructional vid on the Texas rig. . Good job. Will check out your others. Hopefully you have one of Whacky style. thx.
I like finding out what some of the things I have in my tackle box are for. Thank you
The fact that you didn’t say “pun intended” after “down in the weeds” killed me 😩😂 Lol
Thanks for the vid man
Good stuff man. T rig was my 1st successful bass fishing technique. It's good to hear your take. Something I can't find a video on is what angle to you point your rod tip in relation to your bait/line. I remember someone saying when they fish swimbaits they point their rod directly at the bait. I typically have my tip slightly offset when i fish moving baits, but had never thought about if that is correct or not. Nor, how that might vary with different lures. Anyway, best wishes to you and your family. Thanks for the teaching.
I got leprosy from FFS…
Awesome info thanks fir vid
Great video!!! Thanks for the advice on the Texas Rig!!! Stay Safe & God Bless!!! 🤠👍
This is a technique I struggle with. Watching a video like this will hopefully increase my hookup ratio. Thanks Miles. ✌️
Thanks Miles I've been fishing 50+ years but there's always room to learn more
Good point on dragging upwards instead of to the side for less line friction on the bottom. I've never thought about that. I do drag it upwards very slowly but I also drag it to side sometimes. I'll try remember not to drag sideways… You never know when you're going to hook into a big one. A small nick in the line could be the difference between landing a new PB or breaking off! I'm pretty good about checking the last few feet of my line for damage. & I retie alot!!!
