Wauseon Upper Reservoir – Kayak Bass Fishing (7/23/24)

I decided to fish the upper reservoir instead of the lower reservoir. I primarily fish the lower reservoir because it has a little more structure to it. The upper reservoir is just your basic reservoir (round with a rocky bank). Nevertheless, I ended up catching some decent fish after I figured out what they wanted. I really started catching them when I put on a chartreuse colored Roboworm (PUMPKIN PUNISHER). At this body of water, the drop-shot rarely fails me.

I’ve also been loving my new Old Town kayak. Having a pedal drive makes all the difference. You can hold position better in stronger winds and change fishing areas very quickly. The new Railblaza pole mount for my gopro worked great as well.
