In this episode of My Fishing Cape Cod TV we target a fish that not many typically associate with Cape Cod. Largemouth Bass fishing in Cape is surprisingly good, as there are hundreds of “kettle ponds” throughout the coast. These freshwater ponds may look small, but in actuality they can be 50+ feet deep, and can hold some very big bass. Furthermore many of these freshwater ponds and lakes are “herring run” meaning in the Spring there are tons of saltwater herring that make their way into the freshwater through rivers. The prevalence of hearty forage can result in some very big fish!
