Caught everything from cats and bass to tarpon and peacocks.
“That’s means you can fish this bait around cover, and it doesn’t snag..” ……as much as
I love using my blade baits at my local fishing pier 🎣
I changed the split ring and used a 4/0 inline hook and caught a bunch of 28-30” striped bass in the Northeast. Good lure to jig off the bottom
Mike can you conceive fishing it under a slip bobber if you are fishing from the shore?
At 10$ a piece I think I'm going to have to not…..
Thanks Mike! Just bought one of these metal blades, and gonna try it soon. 💯
Thanks for sharing your wisdom Mike! Big fan.
What is your jacket? That is awesome
last time i used a baby spoon i got some bomb bluegills .lol they pull hard as a gas racecar toy 6lb on med light 5 10 spinning rod
You're a very positive person Mike, thanks for your great explanations and inspiration, greeting from Millstätter Lake in Austria !!!
Thanks Mike for explaining what the three holes on the top do! Can't wait to try out this bait! Keep the great content coming!
I forgot to tell you Mike I will be using blade baits in the tournament that I joined it is an international tournament in Lake Murray South Carolina this week I hope I’ll be successful with blades look me up thank you again. I will be with team Philippines and my name is Gary.
Thanks Mike for all the input you’re giving us towards the blade bate, I caught so many fish with any types of blade bait just like you said you could do anything with that and any season thanks again you’ve been a good help
I thought that back hole would give you tighter vibrations. Ow… We were talking fishing. Never mind. 🤭😇😂
I'll pop a bladebait anywhere for anything. Actually had a tarpon hit one once!
I know it's an old video, but I love watching Mike.
Newly subscribed. Just this moment. Enjoyed this clip and the wisdom immensely. Gotta ask though, who’s the brand of shell/jacket you’re sporting? I think I need one …
As a beginner should i use the lure in middle hole or front or back hole? I just purcased my first rod 180cm 20gram and 2 of those 14 gram 😄, i used to fish 270cm rod 50 gram with 25 gram jerkbaits and weedless spinners and i got my record pike of 8kg. But this is so new to me and it looks more fun.
I wonder what would happen if you ran a small split ring with a swivel to it will it change the action
Thanks for the video
I’m not dragging especially brush pile unless I have 100 extra copies in the boat. Also most silver baits have 3 holes. You don’t need a fancy silver blade…
How did I know there would not be 1 fish catch!? Reason, it's a COLD water/weather bait. Low 50's and below. Funny Mike, we've never seen you or any other Pro fishing these baits on tour – there's are reason.
What's old is new again…
ooof… yo yo technique is almost impossible in AZ lakes how do they do it without snagging.. i guess that hook really makes a difference!
My favorite bait. I’ve caught muskies, northern, bass, bowfin, crappies,
you name it. Casting, jigging, trolling. These really work.
I fish with blades almost every time no matter the pond or lake
I’ve dropped them on bass in 30 ft vertical jigging in the summer
