I was wondering Jake how many anglers do you think the new rule changes in 2025 will affect or do you think everybody will do okay with all their new rule changes on your fish finders? Myself personally I don't have a fish finder. I just fish around bays and docks and stuff like that. And I do okay. I sight fish.

Not every team or boat being used by teams in those levels have live imaging on them. This levels the playing the field within those age groups of people that can't afford it. I'm not for banning much of anything, but this is a good move. That said, I don't think the top levels should ban it at all.
Thank goodness businesses and sports organizations don’t try to hamper the development of their profession by limiting the availability of new and innovative technology. FFS is an advancement that uncovered the fact that more and bigger bass do not live on the bank, but are actually offshore or behind the bank/shallow angler. In our free and capitalist society new technology changes everything. Those who adapt and overcome succeed and others fail…that’s life!
Beat rule change amongst all leagues. I’ll be watching more of MLF this season.

I wish they would do this for thsba, I just bought live scope and 360 for my boat just to keep the kids in the competition. I would rather them to fish it out vs scoping it out.
I also with they weren’t allowed to use paid captains (fishing guides)
I'm a 55 year old guy and have had livescope for 6 years and 360 for over 2.
I'll be watching more MLF BPT events because of this decision and am 100% in with the high school limitations. If I have to remove it for Toyota series and BFL's I'll do.
Defiantly agree with you. I see it in my work, high-school students have no clue how to the basics without having technology doing it for them.

Just go ahead and say it it’s ruining the sport. Not just high school it’s ruining bass fishing period hell I don’t even watch it anymore. It sucks to watch you guys are gonna wind up having neck surgery with in. 7 to 8 years there gonna be stuck and you want be able to see forward anymore I’m not the only one feels this way trust me someone needs to do a servey on who likes the forward facing sonar and who don’t but you probably guys votes don’t count which I know there’s a lot of those guys don’t like it either I don’t even see how you guys good even think you won a tournament be cause you didn’t forward facing sonar won it for you
I agree with you 💯, I appreciate you telling how you came up through ranks to get where your at today & it didn't include FFS, but this will teach those young anglers to get really good at decision making & excelling their craft no matter their money status!
Bravo MLF! If they can fish the basics what are they going to do when the FFS breaks or quits while fishing a tournament? They can’t just go home, so with the basics they can go beat the bank, fish points and all the other ways. Thanks Jacob for standing up for the kids and our sport.
Thanks for standing up for the basic learning curves of Bass Fishing. Everyone needs to learn those basic fundamentals on a leave playing field.
I like the decision, idk about 360 but definitely like the FFS ban. I support FFS, but these kids need less screen time 😂

It also somewhat levels the playing field with kids who have rich parents and those who are not rich. I agree it makes them learn the fundamentals of bass fishing.
