Super Shallow is the way to go in September! The water is warm top to bottom by now so this allows the fish to go wherever they feel like it. A lot of lakes are already into their fall drawdown and any cover left becomes KEY!!!

Great info. I’m in central NC. I went and fished a local lake yesterday and had a very strange but good experience. I didn’t catch a single fish on any kind of wood/cover. Not a single fish on frogs, toads, buzzbaits, walking baits etc. I ended up catching them on a large main lake gradually sloping point using the stunna 112+1. This was 1pm in the afternoon and they were crushing it. By far the best I’ve ever done on a jerkbait no matter the season.
