That tan line is a fishman's calling card
Got a special box for square bills. They are my favorite to throw next to the whopper Plopper.
Rod tip up is a tip that’s overlooked with CRANKBAITS. I also will do it with lipless crankbaits to help manage depth!
Love the square bill got them in almost every color.
Thanks for the video 👍
If only the host was Ike and caught the fish

If fishing with someone else as a team during spawn, after the first runs the crank by the stump without a hit, the other can throw a jig&trailer right after and sometimes pick it up.
Thankfully he didn't try to push Flouro for this. Good advice all around.

Nice video! Do you use a fast action rod?
water color is that crankbait?
I don't think you need heavier line if you are using mono.
I use 10b or 12lb flurocarbon because it makes the wobble more intense. Whether it's shallow cranks or those big'ol deep divers.
My squarebills keep turning on their side when I reel them in, is there any way to fix or prevent this?
This guy seems awesome to hang out with
my only problem with crank baits is their tendency to fuck up my wallet everytime i find a tree underwater
Scott, what a Valentines Day — I caught a 6 lb monster on square bill at a residential pond here in NC (from shore) I sense a school of big fish were on prowl with a huge cold front soon to hit — there is a drop off point and vegetation on bottom the fish was no more than 5 ft off shore and when on my drag zinged it was too heavy to lift in via my rod I had to go down to edge and grab it– I just switched to 15 lb braided line and its good thing I don't think I would have landed that fish with the 12 lb mono I had been using — thks for tip — this bait has been REALLY HOT for me in the winter season — as well as the 6 lb I also landed 1 lb and 2 lber — the beauty of the 6 lb was when landed only 1 hook on treble was in fishes mouth
He said when I'm a shitty fisherman on camera I just start talking about how suave I am when I cast and how slick my bait caster is
whats the white thing hanging around his neck?
