Do you have a sneaky bait that gets you those tough late summer bites?
Nice video! Good stuff! ๐๐๐๐๐
That is a great tip! The brush guard on those are nice and strong but don't seem to hinder the hooksets at all. I will have to give that a try this next week!

I started using the 6th sense line through swimbait heads. I find the 3/16th is perfect for a 3.8 paddle tail. You add a bobber stop and then a treble hook. I use a size 6. It really saves your paddle tails because when they bite it the paddle tail detaches from the hook and goes up the line also making it harder for a fish to throw your hook. If you would happen to break your line at the hook the bobber stop would keep the head from coming off so technically it could also last a very long time. I probably wont buy any other kind after using them.
The lake I fish is always murky green 1โ+/- clarity. I have never caught anything on a swim bait my first swim bait was Keitech 3.7 and 4โ pearl white and a black and white one. I still have the baits but never use them because I lost confidence in them.
Love how you constantly use old school baits and you are correct. No one is throwing those anymore. Great video, keep em coming ๐๐
Good stuff LBF. Lure choice is spot on. Black torpedo for sure. โ๏ธ
I can finally get back to fishing a ballhead jig with a white grub. What you all call a confidence bait.
Your videos always make me want to grab my gear and head to the lake!
We had a couple cool nights in the 50s . It was so much better!
A swimbait is really good in the early morning. 1/4 jighead and a Keitech and that's about all I need.
Got 3 last week on a jitterbug. Not big, but it was fun.
A beetle spin is something I used when I was a kid but not in a long time. Gonna have to try one!
Hey Lowbrow, when I downsize I throw a grub or minnow style plastic on the beetle spin. Super cheap fish catcher. I also love the smaller sized Booyah pond magic spinnerbaits & you never hear about the Heddon tiny torpedo. Glad you brought those up. Old school๐
