Kayak Fishing Kentucky's Historic Great Salt Lick Creek | The Licking River

We are in NorthEast Kentucky today to Fish a 6 miles stretch of the Licking River. The river stretches nearly 320 miles and is a tributary of the Ohio River. We depart from Thaxtons Canoe launch spot around Butler, Kentucky for this adventure. Chelsea is floating on her Pelican Catch 100 and I’ll be on the Old Town 106 kayak. It was great day on the river catching smallmouth bass, drum, and channel catfish ! We caught nearly 30 fish between the two of us. Thank you all so much for your support of our new channel.
