Maumee River – Providence Dam (Ohio) Smallmouth Bass Fishing (6/20/24)

This was a slay fest on the Maumee River. I grew up creek and river fishing, and there’s something about it that just excites me. I caught close to 25 Smallies this day, but ran out of battery in my GoPro, so not all are shown. I went back a couple days later with my dad and nephew and caught another 15 or so. They were just on a feeding frenzy, and luckily I was there to take advantage of it. Catching my own live crayfish and minnows for bait is what I usually do at this location, and it has always served me well.
