Higgins Lake (Michigan) Bass Fishing (5/30/24)

This was our annual family fishing trip for 2024. We kicked it off with something a little different. As a family, we haven’t fished Higgins Lake much, but recently, I have been fishing it and have figured out how to catch some Smallies and nice-sized Rock Bass. Higgins is loaded with Rockies, but catching ones big enough to eat can be difficult. We caught close to a hundred Rockies between both boats and ended up bringing back enough for a fish fry or two.
