This day turned out to be pretty exciting. I bought a new kayak to try out since I ended up not liking the Hobbie I had bought previously. My newest one is an Old Town Sportsman pedal drive 10.6′. I absolutely love it! No complaints. I’m going to try to make a review video of it, so hopefully, I get to that sooner rather than later.
As for my fishing for the day, I caught a few nice bass trolling a deep crankbait. While the fishing was fun, my attention drew to something off in the brush, so I investigated. It turned out to be an adult Mink with 6 little pups. I was able to keep my distance, but also get some cool footage of them all running across the bank. It was a cool experience to see in person, and definitely the highlight of this outing.
