I fished that same spot hard last summer and always caught monster pike using a Rapala HJ10 Husky Jerk Lure, firetiger was the hot color for em last year there. give it a shot!

Nice smally dude! We went out for bluegill for bait today. Our lake is one foot from reaching the emergency overspill, so we could not locate bluegill to save our lives! No bluegill, no bait for cats. Booo! Still a good day out on the lake.
