nasty Storms Bring out All the Bass! (epic swimbait fishing + a new puppy)

Alrighty well folks, im addicted to this Daingerous swimbait from Bass Mafia – today on the water confirmed how truly epic this swimbait is! Parallel casting this bait and slowly swimming it back along the bank was the move – these bass are likely getting ready to spawn and hanging up shallow to start making beds and throwing something realistic like this swimbait was the ticket! I have to assume this lake is pressured fairly hard so they likely know what spinner/chatterbait-style lures look like. Changing up and trying to match the hatch can sometimes be the change you need – it defintely worked for me today!

Puppy did well on the kayak too – Im freakin’ PUMPED to get her trained and ready for the kayak so she can go on these epic adventures with me like my other doggo does! A big reason why I even bought the Nucanoe kayak in the first place was to have that huge weight capacity and insane stability for me and the dogs.

Overall, this lake is epic and I can’t wait to come back! Between the bass, pike, and large panfish in here, it’s worth exploring more than once!
