What would we do without the DROP SHOT rig and all other finesse bass fishing techniques?… have some tough days bass fishing day for sure!!!
When the bass bite is slow for whatever reason; blue bird skies, clear water, cold fronts, heavy fishing pressure…etc., the drop shot is one of the best techniques when bass fishing these conditions.
In this video I use the drop shot technique along with the spit shot rig at my heavily pressured lake. The water was super clear and the water temperatures were in the low to mid 80’s with very light winds. Most bass were in 7 to 12 feet of water.
You’ll see a couple of my drop shot rigging techniques as I land a couple of nice keepers in between the dinks and pesky yellow perch… Thanks for watching!!!

Hehe
2:20 “K, bye!” 😂😂😂
Should have put a hook in one of those little guys and let him run around. Just a thought …
What type of boat is that?
can ya just use regular bullet weights and squeeze 'em w/ pliers?
great video bro! we organize the biggest kayak fishing tournament in Mexico, hope you can drop by and check out out 1st tournament aftermovie, hope you can come by sometime!
nice video and little perch , thanks , today Ive got 1 small bass , let it go , 1 tilapia , gave it to people (they were very happy ) on a drop shot , never have perch , I hope to catch one here in LA (if we have perch here , in California , no idea)
Funny how I used this rig to catch sheepshead, jack crevalle, redfish, black drum in salt water….50 years ago…I'll be setting up a spinning outfit to try this next week!
I use those all the time for small weighted Texas rig. 1/16 Or 1/8 oz just to add some weight. When I see bass I can quickly take it off for a much more quiet and slow falling bait. I notice I catch more weightless spot fishing than with weight. It tends tonscare them.
When are you going to use a live small perch for bait, with a rod in a rod holder, with the drag set loose, and use a lease on the rod so you will not loose it when the fish strikes.
That's awsome what you did with the bullet sinker! You just saved me some money.
Great reflexes with that little perch…quick hands!
Man!!! I replicated your technique with the roboworm and bum!! a 2 kg bass!! down in mexico, it´s incredible how the same worked! cheers!!!
Hello nice movie, how about a mutual subscription and a share. Thank you!Flysofishing

Cornell!!! Where you at, man? Miss your vids!
What kind of water craft are you using
Hey man, finesse fishing is one of my favorite things to do! Check out my NEW drop shot worm video and let me know if it's something you'd like to try, pick a color @thefinessedfishermen on instagram and I'll get some out to you! Keep it up!

Which do you prefer shakey head or drop shot. Also I'm new to drop shotting and I don't know what weight to get for a 3 – 9 foot pond so what do you suggest?

I did a plywood floor immediately in my Bass Raider. I highly suggest it if you haven't done it yet 🙂
Where can you get a boat like that?
Best color roboworm for stained to murky water with about 1-2 foot visibility?
hi bro. nice video. congrats. is that a kayak ur standing in? if so, dude a like the way you stand and cast. awesome! if possible, please reply me brand and how much you think it would cost to get one. thanks!
You know, this is the first video of yours I watched I do believe, when you first posted it. I'd never used a drop shot before.. stopped by and picked up some roboworms and such and took my niece out to a super pressured pond. We've tried out there a few times and in 3 all day trips only caught 1 bass. Used this morning dawn drop shot today and caught her 4 bass on her first 4 casts. Glad this one stuck w me. Thanks for the tips, you've helped get my 4yr old munchkin hooked on bass fishing. 😁
Nice video. How much does the boat weigh?
does a roboworm have the same density as water?
You use braded line or single ?
