My first TOP 10 FINISH! Small Adjustment Helped me CATCH || Smith Mountain Bass Fishing Tournament

It’s finally here! 2024 tourney season has begun, and we have 39 of them on the books between BFL’s, @AnglersChoiceMarine events, and jon boat derbies…..the schedule is FULL!

Spent 3 days down at Smith Mountain Lake pre fishing with the boys @hpsfishing @fishingthedmv and Phil leading into the tournament. Found a ton of fish shallow on docks, in the first 1/3 of major creeks, main lake pockets and secondary points. Pre fishing I was tossing a 10″ glidebait around and seeing which docks I could move fish off of, avoided catching them and felt I found enough to give me a bit of confidence going into tournament day that even if they weren’t biting in these areas they were not far. I tried to get the shallow bite going first thing, and had to make a small adjustment to find the fish. Really happy with how this event went, and can’t wait for the next one.
