Bass fishing City Lake – Penn Battle – 5″ Trick Stick

Catching a few bass with my son prior to work. We caught 6 fishing in about 45 minutes, although the gopro 3 (yes, still using a gopro 3) battery died on the last fish. We are fishing a Penn battle 2500 with 20 lb braid, 4/0 offset hook, and Big Bite Baits 5″ trick stick.

My son is fishing a Zebco 33 micro with 8 lb mono, 3/0 hook, and same lure.

We have had great luck with the Big Bite Baits trick stick, but they don’t seem as durable as other brands, as I lose a lot of them when I hook up/during the fight.
