Bass fishing can be a grind at times, there’s no doubt about that. But do electronics and sonar really help, or do they end up causing more harm than good? That’s what we’ll be looking at in this video where I issue a pre-spawn challenge to all anglers, regardless of whether you have electronics or not! #fishing #bassfishing #fishingtips

When you can really figure the fish and dial in to catching. them with knowledge and experience is a rewarding feeling that is a awesome day on the water
Go Lowbrow โ๏ธ, good tips ๐ฅ๐ฃ๐ค
Iโm a yak fisherman, have a Garmin Striker 4 and my primary usage has been limited to monitoring water temp and hunting for depth changes. Youโre correct that itโs an easy trap to fall into if you spend all your time staring at the screen. I caught myself doing it a lot last season and finally said, enough. I turn it off when Iโm fishing shallow and use my polarized glasses to find the bass.
Really love your videos. Fished for first time on a really clear lake yesterday and just rode around looking underwater. Learned more from that than I did from my graph.
Lowbrow yes I have a fish finder on my 14 foot Jon boat but I only use it for water temperature and how deep Iโm fishing pretty much thatโs all I use it for
For better or for worse, even on a day when I'm attempting to really use my sonar, I often conclude that the best and sometimes only useful information I glean is the depth and the water temperature.
Thank you Lowbrow Iโll let you know how I do
No problem at all! I have a Deeper sonar but I'm to poor at the moment to get in the boat game ๐
Also about FFS I just find it very boring to watch people use it and doesn't teach me much from watching people use it.
I really enjoyed this video!!!
I just use my finder for temp and depth๐
I don't really care about having a bunch of flashy gadgets that find fish for me. I just want to relax and fish
I'm trying to learn all I can about bass behavior and your videos really help!
I have an older Triton boat that I invested in electronics rather than buying a newer boat. What I learned is graphs can be a trap in a way. You end up spending your day chasing fish instead of just trying to catch them
I fish either from the bank or from my kayak. The only electronic device with me is my cell phone. I simply love the process of casting and reeling. If I catch fish that's just extra.
I try to always see both sides of something. I don't ffs is bad, it's all in how you use it
Lowbrow Iโve got a question. Iโm a 76 year old bank only fisherman, this morning I went to check out a bank location that is right next to a bridge planning to fish it on Wednesday . The water was covered with green slime, what are the chances the B.A.S.S. are hanging out under that slime, Iโm in central Florida if that helps. Any help would be appreciated
I've learned more about bass behavior from your channel than I did in years of fishing. I try to focus more on that now than what lures I want to use.
I don't have a boat, let alone electronics. But if I did have one, I'd love to have electronics on it
