I'm gonna have to try your technique… tie something on and stick with it.. I have a bad habit of casting something out there 5 or 6 casts, then changing to something else.. I spend more time tying on baits then I do actually fishing. (I only have 2 bait casters and 1 spinning reel..) You wore them out with that 1 jig today.!!

But I noticed you weren't using it, you rather just go out there and fish and use your instincts.. I'm the same way I'm in my 50s and I'm old school.. 😉✌️
I need to get my confidence up in winter fishing period. I’m truly my worst enemy. I haven’t caught a bass since November and have been many times.
I have to rig a jig like that and just force myself to throw it all day till I learn to catch something. Great to see you having fun on the water, even though you said it was cold looked like heaven compared to some of the tournament weather.
