The first big tournament of the year was down in Florida and I was blessed to have caught this Giant Bass on day1 to put me in good position for a solid finish. The Harris Chain is always good this time of year and this tournament was no exception. The Hobie Bass Open Series could not have picked a better time to be on the Harris Chain of Lakes. With a warming trend and a full moon this tournament set up to be one for the record books. The bass were staging up to spawn and could be found on beds and in any area in close proximity to bedding areas.
