  1. Hello,
Thanks for the video! I gave you a subscribe, a thumbs up and this quick comment/question. I'm one minute in, I see that your a kayak fisherman, but just to make sure I'm not assuming anything here without being sure, my question is, "When you say 'River Smallmouth', is that mainly non-tidal river sections with current, like the upper Potomac or New Rivers, or does this knowledge apply, in your opinion, to tidal rivers as well?" Thanks for your time. Tight Lines!!

  2. ive found using that same type of hook for the bottom but using the berkly powerbait craws and just inch it along the bottom and the rocks on breaks in the current or along the bank in rocky slow moving water works very well. caught several 18-21 inch smallmouth lastyear on it in a river most ppl would call a creek lol. also wacky rig and rebel craws work great. and torpedos in fast current on the top inthe summer can do very well too just gotta be right time of year for that. great video though man bout to subscibe

  3. By me the only open water is a river right by a dam. what would be the best lures for that application. the water is still very cold and shallow. Not really sure what to use right now, I've caught numerous smallys in this river but nothing by the dam. Any advice would be awesome!

  4. Man I love that shirt, hope to be on the team one day. The Ned rig is definitely a technique I'll be trying out this year. Can't wait till the Spring to hit my river up for smallies. It's like only 5 mins from me, the Umpqua river.

  5. Tubes man! I've grown up river fishing and tubes are epic for bottom fishing! And stick baits or jerk baits. Those are great. Especially when boating because they don't get hung up as easily
